A Psychologist’s job is to study mental processes and behaviour by observing, interpreting, and recording how people relate to one another and the environment.
Getting something good from something bad. Salvaging people, in a manner of speaking.
My current job is to help a man who was convicted for the murder of his own daughter ten years ago.
Guilt has thrown him to the precipice of a complete mental breakdown.
To save him I'll need to listen to his monologues, and point out to him the weak parts in the lies he's told himself.
I'll need to pay close attention to his behavior and mannerisms.
I can’t say how, but I know he’s innocent. He’s been beating himself up for nothing all these years. I’m going to show him that he never killed his daughter.
